Lowland Leader assessment prep with Graham Uney This walk is specifically for those part of, or linked with, our Womens Hills Skills group in West Cumbria, that are working towards Lowland Leader assessments. Graham will provide some extra tuition, leadership tips, and assessment advice, and help you to know where you are at for working towards assessment. These days are specifically for women living in West Cumbria, and are funded by The Outdoor Partnership through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. We'll go on a different walk each month, have a lovely time outdoors, and build up your hill skills, looking at areas such as map reading, choosing routes, and safety on the hills. Car shares can be arranged within the group, via our Womens Hill skills WhatsApp group. Timings: 10am(ish) - 4pm Meeting point: tbc, but will be within a 30-40min drive from Whitehaven Car shares can be arranged via our WhatsApp group Cost: £15pp You will need: food and a drink comfortable clothes suitable for the outdoors warm layers walking boots waterproof jacket, and waterproof trousers if you have any small rucksack walking poles optional notebook optional The days are funded by the Outdoor Partnership.
