Starting from Bowness Knotts car park. This will be one of our gentler walks through the forest, mostly on good forest tracks and not too steep! There are lovely views of the lake, forest, and fells. This walk will be mostly good forest tracks, witha. few smaller paths as well. These days are specifically for women living in West Cumbria, and are funded by The Outdoor Partnership through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. We'll go on a different walk each month, have a lovely time outdoors, and build up your hill skills, looking at areas such as map reading, choosing routes, and safety on the hills. The days will be really supportive and fun, we'll go at a pace to suit the group, and each month will be a little different. Car shares can be arranged within the group, via our Womens Hill skills WhatsApp group.
