Ling Fell (by Embleton and Sale Fell) - medium walk These days are specifically for women living in West Cumbria, and are funded by The Outdoor Partnership through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. We'll go on a different walk each month, have a lovely time outdoors, and build up your hill skills, looking at areas such as map reading, choosing routes, and safety on the hills. The days will be really supportive and fun, we'll go at a pace to suit the group, and each month will be a little different. Car shares can be arranged within the group, via our Womens Hill skills WhatsApp group. Ling Fell With it being winter....we will decide on a lower or higher route based on the weather! Ideally, we will go up Ling Fell, which is just by Sale Fell. This walk will feel like one of our medium walks, with some hilly sections and some flat sections. Timings: 10am - 3.30pm Meeting point: Wythop Mill (just off the A66) Car shares can be arranged via our WhatsApp group, there is also a bus service that runs along the A66. You will need: food and a drink comfortable clothes suitable for the outdoors warm layers walking boots waterproof jacket, and waterproof trousers if you have any small rucksack walking poles optional The days are funded by the Outdoor Partnership.
